Why this neighborhood is great
This charming, spacious home is located in a picturesque community called Blueberry Hill in the McLean school pyramid. The neighborhood is designed to maximize opportunities for people to interact and get to know each other. There are optional weekly meals in the community building, occasional happy hours, movies on the lawn, an annual charity fundraiser, community raking or work days and other events.
The members of the community regularly gather for meals at the community building, usually twice per week. The community finds eating together an important activity, a sort of glue that holds them together. With all cooking, cleaning and eating optional (but encouraged), members may participate to whatever extent they enjoy.
Participation in other activities, such as indoor or outdoor workdays, movie nights, annual music recitals and holiday parties (even "Talk Like A Pirate Day"), is also optional. We are always looking for different ways to add value to our community. We've had happy hours, open mic nights, visiting yoga instructors, meditation groups and after school study halls. This community is full of intelligent, talented, and creative people who enjoy spending time with their neighbors.
